Hi there! My name’s Greg Desrosiers and I’m a freelance writer and content strategist.
With nearly a decade of professional writing under my belt, I’ve produced a wide variety of written web content. I’ve contributed to mid- and large-size online blogs, regional news radio outlets, destination marketing organizations, and state government websites and web strategy.
My approach features great attention to facts and detail. I want every piece of work I publish to inform the reader and leave them walking away knowing they’ve learned something. When it comes to strategy, I make use of as much analytical data I can get my hands on and translate it into simple, actionable takeaways and next steps.
After spending more than five years of reporting for WBSM News, I’ve covered a variety of topics including local and state government, education, crime, and culture. More of my work can be found on New Bedford Guide, Bearded & Brewed, and Brew Studs.
As a content strategist for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, I spent more than two years assisting with the creation and maintenance of content found on Mass.gov.
If you have content needs, I’ve got the experience. From white papers to microcopy, technical writing to blog posts, in-depth storytelling to social media and content marketing strategy, I’m here for you.
Born and raised in southeastern Massachusetts, I graduated with a BA in Crime & Justice Studies and a minor in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth. I still reside in the area and have covered stories spanning the southern New England region.
